Fun Online Browser Games

One of my favorite online games to play when I'm bored is HaxBall. After first hearing about this little game back in 2011 I became addicted and played it a lot. Few years later, I still return to play it. It's a browser flash game with gameplay based on a mixture between soccer and air hockey. Here is a link to the game site: www.haxball.com.

The objective of the game is to score goals in the opposing goal. To win the game, you need to score more goals than the opposing team within a time limit established by the room host. Your control keys are arrows keys or W, A, S and D. To shoot press X, Spacebar, Ctrl, shift, or 0 on the numeric keypad. You can change your avatar using command /avatar xx, 'xx' being whatever you want.

What I love about HaxBall is the challenge of maneuvering your way against your opposition and working together with your team to score goals. There are certain tricks you can use for passing and scoring goals, most popular being rocket shots and wall tricks. You can see some gameplay footage with these tricks executed here (video not by me):

Of course, you can also play as a goalie, which has its own simple challenge of blocking incoming balls.

There are custom maps you can play in as well. These maps may be altered somewhat, have a completely different objective, and/or may require strategies for winning. There are lots of unique custom maps you can download on www.haxballmaps.com and www.haxmaps.com. Below are examples of custom maps:

Pacman
Volleyball

If you decide to try this game out and end up liking it, I suggest watching some tutorials on YouTube to learn some fancy tricks and shots and gain an upper hand in future matches.

Another game I have known about for many years is called Tank Ball 2, which is a 3D action game where, of course, you battle other tanks. You spawn on a tiny tropical island, choose the color of your tank and then begin to unleash your arsenal of unlimited cannonballs at nearby enemy tanks. The more you hit, the more points you will score. It's quite fun to play. Here is a link to the website: www.maidmarian.com.

There are several other online games you can play on that site to kill time. But of them all, Tank Ball 2 is my favorite with Sherwood Dungeon (an MMORPG) coming second. Use arrow keys to move and shoot with Ctrl, and to re-open the color selection menu click anywhere on the top left interface. Below I have shared a screenshot of Tank Ball 2 with helpful details about the interface on the top left corner of the game screen. The red bar represents your health.

About this Blog

This blog will be about many things. I plan to post written debates I have come across in the past few years. Debates will pertain to evolution, creation, God, atheism, nature of science and other subjects. I will be posting about my life as well, including issues I have and really anything that's worth sharing about me. My health will definitely be covered in future posts, and consequently I will provide a lot of information about a lot of different medical problems and with it treatment tips and advice.

Links to good blogs, websites and resources will be added and updated every now and then. I hope they will provide knowledge, answers and help regarding your health. Expect a long list of these links as I have thousands of bookmarks on my hard drive. In addition, I will share a list of good YouTube channels to check out. I don't go on YouTube a lot so there won't be many.

Besides what I have planned for this newly created blog, I might occasionally post something random, interesting or weird from my own thoughts. Putting my thoughts into words on here will especially help me organize my thinking better.

Lastly, I will be sharing my experience with work-from-home sites I try out. All the different work-at-home jobs will be presented and described in an effort to not only help myself in my search for a decent paying job, but other work-at-home job seekers.
